About Us

The Tacoma/Pierce County DUI Victim's Information Panel is a Not-for-Profit corporation that was established in July, 1991.

The objectives of the information panels are three-fold:

  1. To provide education to the public through community presentations held in schools, military bases, and community events.
  2. To provide education and information to subjects and family members who are facing alcohol, drug, and other court cases (both court ordered and non-court ordered)
  3. To assist victims and the families of victims who have been impacted due to the affects of impaired driving and crashes.

Our panels are different than most others in that ALL of the speakers that you will hear have had their lives changed forever by a DUI or Impaired Driving Crashes.  They have either lost a loved one due to a crash, were injured in a DUI crash or they were the cause of a DUI crash.

Our speakers volunteer their time and share their stories in hopes that they will make a difference and they may save others from having to suffer the lifelong impacts from a single decision to drive impaired.

Our speakers are not professional speakers, in fact most have never spoken in public, but their message is so important that they speak from their hearts because they care.
